Worky love.

Look closely. See that smile? That's pure worky joy.

Just how far has Hank come in 10 months?

Remember that cat who spontaneously gagged at the site of her? That cat who refused to eat for a month after she came home and had to be force-fed every night?

Seems a lifetime ago. :)

Huuuuuuuuge eggs.

My Mom and Dad, Dan and I have been going to the Mitchell Park Domes (Ned speak: 'huuuuuuge eggs') every Christmas for a couple years.

Ned's verdict? She's a definite fan of these bizarre multi-climate eggs. The arid dome even has its "owns moon."

And, just so you know, even furry cacti are prickly. :)

Yipshtick.

Oh my--the things I catch happening in our hallway these days. Thank goodness she's as into plumbing as she is "yipshtick."

Happy 2010!

Plumbing.

I mean, I'm really not kidding when I say she digs all things mechanical/technical. Today, it was a (stinky, nasty, disgusting, gross, foul) little stopped up bathroom sink issue. She spent an hour "working" with Baba.

When Dan announced the project to her and requested her help, she responded with, "Yesh, help! Owns tools!" and promptly ran off to her gigantic worky to gather her wrench and screwdriver. Oh, and the flashlight in the photos is hers, too. "Owns fwashyight."

Kid cracks me up.

The budding photographer...and her loyal subject.

"Take pickchur Mao Mao."

"Mao Mao! YOOK! Camruh!"

"Goooooood boy."

Really, Hank is so much more patient than he gets credit for.
