We're engaged.

On the way home from Grandma's tonight:

Nedy: "Mama, what 'married' mean?"

Mama: "Married is when two people love each other and want to be on the same team in life. They promise to love each other and take care of each other all their lives. When people get married they usually live together in the same house and raise kids together."

Nedy: "Ummmm...when people get married?"

Mama: "When they're older, like maybe 30."

Nedy: "Hey Mama? I yike to marry you when I owder. Okay?"

Mama: "That's sweet, Ned. Sure, I'll marry you. Or somethin' like it, anyway."

Sooooo...ummmm...I think I'm engaged to my daughter. My Mom always says we're a little weird. I guess she's right. :)
