CRAZY.
Yesterday I had e-mail communication with our social worker at our international agency (we have 2 agencies--local and international) who will be the one to inform us when our referral arrives. She will call us with the news and was e-mailing to find out our contact numbers and the order she should try them in when she has news for us... Aaaaaargh!!! For real? REALLY?! SOON?!?!?
And then tonight this pops up on Rumor Queen (www.chinaadopttalk.com):

According to a North American agency, the 23rd is in.
It is not clear at this point whether they are just saying their people with LID’s of the 23rd are included and farther out dates may be included but they wouldn’t know about that since they only have information pertaining to their clients… or whether the actual cut off is the 23rd.
At this point I’ll give it a high R3 that the 23rd is included, but I’m not making a statement about the cut off just yet.
Seeing those words--"23rd is in"--even if it's just a rumor at this point is absolutely AMAZING. And CRAZY.
Patience is indeed a virtue.

What day in the month do they normally let people know? It's got to be soon, right? The last few months are indeed CRAZY. I wouldn't go through that again if you paid me...it was different with Korea, though. Then we only knew we were "close" for a few months. This "are we in or are we out" thing with the China process is WAY more extreme.

I know, it is CRAZY!!! They don't normally let people know on any particular day of the month, just anywhere in the ballpark of 26-38 days apart. The last referrals came on 11/05/08...34 days ago...going slowly craaaaazy...maybe tomorrow? Maybe Wednesday? Hopefully before I see you Thursday!
